My name is Matt Weiss and I am a fourth year medical student at Stritch. I graduated from the University of Kentucky in December of 2013 and started at Stritch in 2014. I got a BS in Biology with a minor in Spanish.

I grew up in Woodridge, IL, and went to High School in Downers Grove so I am somewhat native to the area. When I went to school at the University of Kentucky I studied biology and Spanish. In my spare time I helped tutor athletes at the university. I also worked at Lexington Infectious Disease Consultants for 2 years, where I gained clinical experience (as well as got some spending money). I have just recently applied to Internal Medicine residency programs. Outside of school my interests include playing sports or watching them, exercising, relaxing and watching movies, or just going out on the town with friends. I am willing to help with any questions you would have about med school. I am the first person in my family to become a doctor, so I know there were times that I was really confused and lost. I'll do my best to draw from my experiences to help you out.
