My name is Christian Perez and I am a second year medical student. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2013. I majored in molecular biology and minored in psychology and neuroscience. After college I worked and did research before entering medical school.

I have many interests in medicine and have looked into various specialties such as psychiatry, general surgery, ophthalmology, radiology, anesthesiology, oncology, pathology, and internal medicine and infectious disease. I am currently involved with various organizations at school such as the PSYCH MIND group for psychiatry interested students, internal medicine, and the ophthalmology group. Outside of school I enjoy traveling, hiking, going to live musical events, watching movies, and doing puzzles. I am interested in all types of mentoring, whether it be application process, personal statement, undergrad research, or community service activites.
