Mentoring, Advising
My name is Amma Taylor and I am a first year medical student. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in May of 2016 and I majored in Sociology. After college I moved home to Minneapolis for a year and worked as an Emergency Department scribe.
I am a Ghanaian American who was raised in the suburbs on Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Chicago to start at Loyola. Currently at Stritch there are many organizations that we can be involved in here and at this time I am planning on being involved in Global Health Honors Program, HPREP which is a community outreach program, and volunteering at various free clinics in the Chicagoland area. Outside of school I love to watch movies, exercise (my current interest is boxing/kickboxing), and spend time with friends. I also like to knit and do ceramics when I have time. At this time I am very interested in going into Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. I would love to mentor anyone but I especially interested in mentoring students with non-science majors.
