In 2019 I moved to NYC to start and run the bereavement program at New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. I do counseling for families both in the hospital and post death. I do staff education including medical students. I engage in staff support and critical incidence staff debriefing. I'm currently writing all the branded grief material for the children's hospital. I graduated from Loyola University in 2009 with a BS in Psychology and earned a MA in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2011. I have been working as a grief counselor for since 2011 in multiple settings. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and combine CBT and a humanistic approach as well as mindfulness and meditation. In 2013 I started my own business doing life coaching called Open Door Coaching. And in 2015 I became a certified trauma professional. I enjoy the different ways I use my education and experience career wise.
