I worked as a lawyer, doing research and writing in the field of professional ethics, until my older son was 2 years old. At that time, I became an at-home mom. I planned on returning to the law, but life intervened. I worked diverse part-time jobs so I could be home with my sons after school. At present, my sons are young adults, and I work as a tutor of elementary and high school age students.
