My name is Poonam Dalwadi, and I am a first year medical student. I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016. I majored in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. After college, I spent a year conducting clinical research and another year scribing before entering medical school.

I am interested in global health and am considering surgical specialties. I am currently involved with SAMSA, Fresh Start, CHC Phlebotomy, PULSE mentors, and Cradle Cuddlers. Outside of medical school, I spend time writing short stories. I'm interested in mentoring students who need assistance with the medical school application process.
