My name is Michael Janiga and I am a second year medical student. I graduated from Loyola University in Chicago. I majored in Exercise Science. After college I started medical school.

Currently, my interest in medicine is extremely broad, but I am leaning towards more surgically based specialties. In school I'm involved with various specialty interest groups, board member of the Sports Medicine Interest Group, part of the admissions committee, and doing research in a biomechanics spine lab. Outside of medical school I like to play sports, fish, hike, kayak, and bike.
