I am an M4 at Stritch. I was a non-traditional applicant and came to Stritch after working for 3 years in Neurosurgical and Psychiatric clinical research at Duke University and Baylor College of Medicine. I graduated from Duke in 2012 after studying Biological Anthropology and Anatomy. I am happy to mentor about gap years, research, and the application process. I will be going into Diagnostic Radiology.

I enjoy clinical research and have learned a lot from my time working in the field prior to Stritch. I am happy to address both general and specific questions about whether you should pursue it, the rewards of projects and the challenges.
On a more personal side, I love sports as a whole but especially the NFL and college. I also follow primarily follow international soccer and enjoy the bundesliga, la liga, and BPL. It is a nice break from medicine but I hope to one day incorporate sports medicine into my practice.
Additionally, I enjoy cooking, reading when I have time, and learning more about the natural sciences especially the history of the earth and space.
Lastly, I am married and my wife is pursuing a master's entry into nursing degree and I would be happy to share what I have learned from that process and the difficulties of balancing a relationship while both people are pursuing graduate studies.
