Mentoring
Video Call
My name is Alek Druck and I am a first year medical student. I graduated from Marquette University in 2017. I majored in Physiological Sciences and minored in Spanish for the Health Professions.
I am currently undecided in what kind of medicine I want to pursue. At Stritch, I am involved in STEPS (a pediatric volunteer service), Fresh Start (health counseling to members of Halfway House), MOLA (another health counseling program), CURA (reflection/guidance group), admissions tour guide, and am taking a medical Spanish elective.
In graduating from a Jesuit university, I have become passionate about service, leadership, and fostering community--I hope to remain committed to these values throughout my medical career.
Outside of school, I enjoy playing pick-up basketball, watching Big 10 football, and keeping up to date on my Chicago sports teams. Skiing and dirt biking are some of my favorite sports to engage in during the winter and summer months respectively.
I find mentorship extremely valuable, so if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat about life, please do not hesitate to contact me!
