Prior to attending Loyola, I served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. While at Loyola, I majored in Physics with minors in Math and Finance. I began my career in investment banking conducting sell-side mergers and acquisitions advisory for middle market healthcare companies. Now, I work for Sandbox Industries in the Blue Venture Fund, a healthcare venture capital fund that invests in early-stage healthcare companies on behalf of Blue Cross Blue Shield entities. My job is to identify start-up companies that are of strategic relevance to the Blue Health Plans, make investments in those companies, and help them grow. We focus primarily on healthcare technology and services companies that aim to decrease cost and improve value in the healthcare system.
