About My Career:

I completed residency in 2012 in Obstetrics and Gynecology and practiced in the midwest, mostly in Chicago, for 7 years. I worked with a diverse group of patients and worked closely with residents. I made the decision to move to Tampa based on a variety of factors (weather, family, weather, weather).

I have been a mentor for a few years and the most common question I am asked is: Is it worth it to go into medicine right now? For me it was/is worth it. I love the problem solving, the procedures, and the ability to help patients at very stressful times in their lives (or at any time). I am happy to talk to you about your decision to go into medicine or, if you are in medical school, how to choose your specialty. Unfortunately, I can't provide any shadowing opportunities at this time.
