I work as a Program Officer at an International Education NGO in Washington, DC titled World Learning. In this capacity, I help to facilitate a capacity building and training program to expand and diversify study abroad programs at U.S. higher education institutions. This positions involves grant management, logistics management, monitoring and evaluation, and marketing and communications. In previous positions at World Learning I have organized logistics and programming for professional exchange programs funded by U.S. State Department grants. Prior to this position, I held several internships with other NGOs and government organizations in both Chicago and Washington, DC.
At WL, I have the opportunity to interact with both foreign and American professionals in a variety of fields for both U.S.-based and foreign-based programs. I also have experience in grant proposal writing, program budget management, and compliance work.
I am also pursuing a M.A. in Sustainable Development from The Graduate Institute at SIT.
