Loyola University Medical Center
Hi! My name is Elycia Kazemian. I'm a second year medical student. I went to Creighton University for undergrad and came straight to Loyola. I majored in Biology and Spanish.
I'm not sure what I'm going to specialize in quite yet, but I've enjoyed almost everything in medical school so far. In medical school I'm involved with various clubs and groups. I especially enjoy my role as a Spanish to English translator at the Access to Care clinic run by Loyola physicians. Outside of medical school, I love to spend time exploring different parts of Chicago. I think Chicago does food best, so I love to try different foods at restaurants all over the city. I try to use my study time efficiently to make sure I have time for myself and for doing fun things in Chicago with my friends. I'm really excited to be a mentor! These types of programs were very helpful to me in my application process and I'm thrilled to be a part of something like this. I'm willing to mentor in any category, from applications to interviews and acceptance decisions. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns/questions/curiosities!
