My career includes experience in three different (yet interconnected) careers: 1) Software development and Project Management 2) Software Consulting & managing the operations for a Software Consulting firm and 3) Talent Acquisition (aka Recruiting) for Audit, Tax and Advisory candidates at a Big-4 firm (KPMG).
Some of my passions include 1) identifying quality talent 2) career advising 3) assisting in career transition 4) social networking (predominantly LinkedIn & Twitter) 5) LGBTQ issues, support and doing what I can to provide a level playing field for all diversity candidates 6) process improvement and 7) Military/Veteran recruiting.
About His Career:
Mr. Madura is an extensive networker with a firm belief in pay-it-forward networking. He was previously recruited in the Life Sciences for Pharma (research, regulatory affairs), Biotech (successfully completed a CEO retained search) and the Hedge Fund space (software engineers, financial engineers).
He joined KPMG as a Manager of Recruiting for our Midwest Area Advisory practice and became Lead Advisory recruiter for the Midewest in 2007. In 2009, Mr. Madura assumed national recruiter leadership for KPMG's Management Consulting Advisory Services Group. In 2010, he moved to KPMG's Recruiting Research team. Most recently he assumed lead research role for KPMG's Growth Initiatives.
