My name is Matt Wu and I am a first year medical student. I graduated from Emory University in 2016. I majored in neuroscience and behavioral biology. After college I did clinical research on stroke in young patients at UCLA and had the opportunity to travel before entering medical school.

I would love to help with any aspect of the pre-med process. I am particularly interested in mentoring for undergrad research, interview tips, picking classes, and the application process. I am currently thinking about specializing in orthopaedic surgery or another procedural speciality. At Stritch, I am involved with research and plan on pursuing the STAR research and research honors programs and have interests in medical education. I am also involved with several interest groups for specialties such as orthopaedic surgery and internal medicine. Outside of medical school, I like to swim, run, cook, and backpack.
