Chicago, Illinois, United States
My name is Julia Organ and I am a first year medical student. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2018. I majored in Biology and minored in Bioethics. The summer after college I traveled, spent time with family and friends and relaxed before entering medical school.
So far in medical school, I have developed interests in Pediatrics, Neurology and Family Medicine. I am a member of various interest groups on campus and serve as a tour guide for current interviewees. I also volunteer on the Pediatrics floor through the STEPs program and in local underserved health clinics through the Neighborhood Health Initiative program. In my spare time, I love connecting with family and friends, traveling, hiking and exploring Chicago. Mentoring has always been a passion of mine and I am available to answer questions or talk about anything at all (academics, extracurriculars, MCAT, EAP, medical school, life, etc)!
