My name is Aaima and I'm a third year medical student at Loyola. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2012. I majored in Psychology and minored in Theater Arts. After college, I moved back to Illinois with my family and worked retail before entering medical school.

In terms of specialty, I am keeping an open mind for rotations, but I do have an interest in neurology and psychiatry. In medical school, I am involved with the Bioethics Honors Program, Mental Illness of Neurological Disease Interest Group, Medical Muslim Student Association, and the Neonatology Interest Group.
